Cancel Application

Housing Application Cancellation

If you would like to cancel your Housing application for the 2017-18 academic year, you can cancel by logging back into your application account. To learn more about how to cancel your application, please view our cancellation guide.

If you currently live in the residence halls you can cancel your Housing contract by removing all of your belongings from your room and returning your keys and laundry card to your service center. If you are continuing as a UO student, a contract breakage fee of $9 for every contract day remaining (until the end of spring term) will be assessed upon check-out—there are 75 contract days in each term. If you have questions, you can contact your service center or the main Housing office.

Pre-payment Refund Schedule

Upon receipt, your application for University Housing will be canceled. You will receive notification by e-mail. The $50 application fee is non-refundable.

Cancellation deadlines:

  • Before May 1 — $350 refund
  • May 1 – May 31 — $175 refund
  • June 1 or after — No refund

Contract cancellations or terminations submitted after July 31 will be charged a contract breakage fee of $2,025.
