Flying V Community: Substance Free

Two hallmates talking in a residence hall room

What is the Flying V Community?

In the Flying V substance free community, residents make a commitment to maintaining an environment free of alcohol and controlled substances. Students living in the Flying V neighborhood create a supportive environment committed to cultivating healthy lifestyle habits. This hall also includes campus partners committed to the wellbeing of the residents, including the university counseling services.

Why should I choose to live in this neighborhood?

Living in this residential community means holding yourself accountable for abstaining from illegal drugs and alcohol. Residents who make this commitment must agree to refrain from consuming alcohol and controlled substances and may be removed from this neighborhood should they be found in violation of the commitment.

Location

Residence Hall: Justice Bean Hall. Students living in this community will select roommates who are also in the community.

Please note that communities can be moved to different residence hall buildings if the size or need of the community changes.
