Eligibility Guidelines

Family Housing and University Apartments

All rental agreement holders must be enrolled full-time in a matriculated program at the University of Oregon during the term of check-in and must remain so for at least fall, winter, and spring terms each year. Full-time status is defined as at least nine credit hours for graduate students or at least twelve credit hours for undergraduate students.

Housing assignments are based on the following eligibility requirements and priorities. All tenants that contribute to these eligibility requirements must reside in the unit at least 50 percent of the time to maintain eligibility. Only the eligible rental agreement holder and eligible household members listed on the application or on an approved household profile update may reside in the unit. Please note that falsifying eligibility documents will make you permanently ineligible for University Housing.
