nomad, the UO comparative Literature Program's Journal of undergraduate writing, presents it's 2009-2010 mentorship program and speaker series:
TRASH, the 2009-2010 Nomad Lecture and Viewing Series that examines the muck, garbage, filth and putrescence, the lowly, the unwanted, the worthless, and the good-for-nothing from all over the world.
TRASH is a speaker series, a film series, a faculty, grad and undergraduate collaboration-and more. Graduate students and faculty members share research and show films and videos. Undergraduate participants work one-on-one with faculty and graduate student mentors to develop, present, and publish their own work on the topic. The end result is our journal of undergraduate writing, nomad.
