OSPIRG is a statewide nonprofit, directed and funded by students, giving them the resources, skills, and opportunity to take on big issues going on in the world today.
Healthcare costs are out of control. Families and businesses are paying more each year while insurers are squeezing out profits and even refusing to cover people when they get sick.
OSPIRG is pushing congress to reign in costs and increase dependability by creating a public health insurance option to compete with private companies.
Corporate interest groups are pouring millions of dollars every single day into fighting this reform. We can stand up to this kind of power but we need to show a lot of support.
Co-hosted by: The Student Insurgent, Campus Democrats, The Survival Center, OSPIRG, the Pre-med Club and CAER to bring the healthcare debate to campus, educate students about the issue and get student input.
