Special Interest Halls

Civic Engagement/Leadership Hall
You are interested in giving to your community and look forward to becoming involved in activities while studying at the university. You do not need to have leadership experience to be in this hall, but you do agree to be in an activity such as student government, club sports, or writing for the student newspaper.

Collegiate Hall
You are excited about college and are looking forward to immersing yourself in the broad college experience.

Creative Arts Hall
You've caught the creative bug. You are interested in arts and culture. Some of your hobbies might include theater, music, photography, visual arts, pottery, or film.

Honors Hall
Your friends want you on their side for games like Trivial Pursuit and Cranium. You plan to be admitted in to the Robert D. Clark Honors College, Honors Science FIG, or Society of College Scholars. If you select the Honors Hall as your first choice and are not eligible, we will attempt to place you in your second-choice hall.

International House
Learning about different cultures and ethnicities from around the world is important to you. Since you appreciate people from different regions, your dream is to one day travel the world. International House is located in Earl Hall, and rooms fall under the "Double" or "Single" rate.

Multicultural Hall
Friends know you as an inquisitive person who enjoys meeting new people with different backgrounds from your own. You are intrigued by the varied cultures you can find in your own backyard.

Music Hall
Whether it's a beat or a chord, music flows through your blood. Even so, you understand the importance of sleep and study. You look forward to sharing your appreciation of music or using the music practice rooms.

Quiet Hall
Whether you are a book lover who likes to study, or like to be able to take naps at any time of the day, you need a quiet environment to truly thrive. You enjoy surrounding yourself with others who respect the need for quiet.

Tech Hall
You are the first person your friends come to for computer help and game cheats. You are also resourceful and tech-savvy.

Upperclass / Transfer / Graduate
You enjoy a balanced combination of study, play, and sleep. Since you are no longer a first-year student, you enjoy living with others who are already familiar with student life. Rooms fall under the Enhanced Double with Sink or Enhanced Single with Sink rate

Wellness and Substance-Free Hall
You are vibrant and energetic. Keeping your body in the best shape by eating right and working out is important to you. You like to have fun sober and choose to abstain from use of alcohol, tobacco, and all other drugs.
