Residence Hall Application Steps
- Review and choose an Academic Residential Community. This step is technically optional, but do consider the opportunity to both live and take classes with your roommates and neighbors, which makes for a smooth transition to college life.
- Fill out the application online and select your preferences. This is the part where you can tell us your room-type preference, any roommate matching needs you want us to consider, and other details.
- Sign your contract. Please note: if you are under the age of 18 at the time you are signing your contract you will need a parent or guardian to also sign the contract to complete you application.
- Pay your prepayment and non-refundable application fee.
On-campus housing is a first-come, first-served process, so we encourage you to apply as soon as you are ready.
Residence Hall Room Assignments
Fall room and hall assignments will be sent mid-August. Winter and spring assignments will be e-mailed at least 48 hours prior to your arrival. The assignment will be based on your application data, Academic Residential Community selection and other considerations.
Students who qualify and who choose to waive their admission application fee and/or Advance Tuition fee may also choose to defer their initial University Housing payment. For those who qualify, an option to defer will be included in the online payment application process.
Deferrals have the same financial commitment as payments and must follow the same cancellation guidelines.
