Sharing copyrighted materials on peer-to-peer networks while connected to the University of Oregon network is strictly prohibited. Please see the UO's Acceptable Use Policy for further information.

If your connection is cut off due to file sharing violations, it normally takes at least two weeks to have your port reactivated.

It is strongly advised that any peer-to-peer applications be removed from the computer while on the UO network. These applications include, but are not limited to:

eDonkey
DC++/Direct Connect
WinMX
BitTorren or other torrenting applicationst
KaZaA
Limewire
