Summer Housing

During summer, the residence halls are home to youth camps, UO-affiliated conferences, and UO summer session students. Senior citizens who are residents of the state of Oregon may audit UO classes free of charge and may be eligible for summer housing. Out-of-state senior citizens are eligible for summer housing by paying tuition for the classes they attend.

The University of Oregon houses two different Elderhostel groups over the summer. Both occur from late June to mid-July. Dates and contact information are listed on the Conferences website.

First-time UO freshmen are encouraged to start living in the residence halls at the beginning of fall term rather than summer term.
