At Spencer View, Graduate Village, and Agate Apartments, to connect your computer to the internet via Ethernet, you will need a CAT5 or CAT6 Ethernet cable. CAT5 cables are available at ResNet Services Office. You will need to register your router and any internet-enabled device that does not have a web browser (Xbox, Smart TVs, and VOIP devices) at the ResNet Office in the McAlister courtyard on the north side of Walton Hall 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Monday–Friday. For East Campus Houses and Moon Court, internet connection is not provided by UO Apartments and Family Housing, you will need to contact a local internet service provider for access.

Community Spaces

Residents in Family Housing and University Apartment communities may reserve these spaces for recreational or educational purposes.

The community room in Spencer View features a full kitchen and furniture for gatherings. The rental agreement holder may reserve the room for up to four hours, one day a week, and one weekend day a month. Smoking and alcohol use are strictly prohibited. To reserve the space contact the Spencer View east campus area office within 30 days of the event.

The music room is for Spencer View residents. Keys for this space can be checked out at the Spencer View area desk

Community Gardens

Spencer View has limited residential garden plots for residents to use. If you are interested in having your own garden plot, or if you would like to join our neighborhood-wide community garden program, please contact Area Coordinator, Francis Pastorelle. East campus residents can request a plot in the community garden by applying online.
