Register for housing for the 2022–23 year today!

All first-year students at the UO live on campus. Admitted students will get an email once they can log in and register for housing—this will be within two weeks of being admitted to the UO. The earlier you register, the more prioirity and options you have when selecting your room. 

Also, you don’t have to be a first-year student to live on campus! If you are a returning student who is currently living in the residence halls, you can register for housing now and select your own room before any new students. There are many benefits to living on campus after your first year, learn more about living here next year. 

Here are some basic registration details for new students:

• You do not need to be committed to the UO to register for housing. 
• You will select your own room in July! The sooner you complete your housing registration the more options you will have. Complete your registration, then sign your contract and pay a $50 registration fee and a $350 initial housing payment that goes toward your fall term room and meal charges. Some students are eligible to defer the initial payment based on need. Email us at housing@oregon.edu for more information on deferring the initial housing payment. 
• You can update your fall registration any time until July 31, and it will not change the date at which you completed your registration.
• Roommate browsing and requests takes place in June and you will be able to select your room at your designated time in July by logging onto My Housing.
