In addition to affordable, sustainable, supportive housing options, University Housing is also developing dining and retail, academic, and student support services for undergraduate and graduate students. At UO Portland, we endeavor to provide accessible and learning-centered housing for upper-division undergraduate and graduate students, emphasizing career readiness, academic perseverance, and social well-being.

Making the right connections and following a few simple rules will allow you to focus on your studies and living your best life on the Portland campus.
Policies
Pets: No pets allowed except for fish. ESA animals are approved by the UO’s Accessible Education Center.
Smoking: All University Housing neighborhoods, communities, and campuses are smoke-, tobacco-, cannabis-, and drug-free.
Deposit: When a housing offer has been made, a security deposit, along with the non-refundable prorated first month’s rent, is required to secure the unit. Specific assignments cannot be guaranteed.
Rates: Rental rates are a guideline and are subject to change. Rental rates are listed for the 2024–25 academic year. The University Housing contract for Portland housing can be found at the My Housing Resources.
