Resources and Services
Students living in Family Housing, Graduate Village, and University Apartments have access to a number of housing resources. The University of Oregon is rich with resources and services available for your use in order to maximize the positive experiences you have. University Housing works closely with many of these resources and services to help you make the most of your on-campus living experience. From academic advising to technology support to mental health resources, you’ll have no trouble accessing what you need. In fact, the community assistants are a great start for getting you connected.
Residents in Family Housing and University Apartment communities may reserve these spaces for recreational or educational purposes.
- The Community Room in Spencer View features a full kitchen and furniture for gatherings. The rental agreement holder may reserve the room for up to four hours, one day a week, and one weekend day a month. Smoking and alcohol use are strictly prohibited. To reserve the space contact the Spencer View East Campus Area Office within 30 days of the event.
- The Music Practice Room is for Spencer View residents. Keys for this space can be checked out at the Spencer View East Campus Area Desk.
Spencer View has limited residential garden plots for residents to use. If you are interested in having your own garden plot, or if you would like to join our neighborhood wide Community Garden program, please contact Area Coorinator Francis Pastorelle. East Campus residents can request a plot in the Grove Community Garden by applying online.
