Located on the east side of campus, Global Scholars Hall has multi-gendered floors and houses a learning commons and a live-in faculty member. The main level of this building features classroom spaces, a demonstration kitchen, music practice rooms, study areas, and a dining area.
The Robert D. Clark Honors College and the Global Engagement Academic Residential Community benefit from the use of the classrooms, the great room, and the study spaces in Global Scholars Hall. The Global Engagement program uses the test kitchen to showcase foods from the cultures and languages featured in the communities (Chinese, French, German, Japanese, and Spanish).
Academic Support in Global Scholars Hall
At Global Scholars Hall students can interact with the faculty in residence member who lives in the building, learn about research from the Center for Undergraduate Research and Engagement faculty who have an office in the building, and connect with academic advisor Jessa Heath.

Construction in the Neighborhood
Construction of the new residence hall on Humpy Lumpy Lawn—northwest of Global Scholars Hall—has begun. There will be construction noise and increased vehicle traffic, as well as traffic control on 15th Ave. Contractors have been asked to be mindful of student schedules and noise levels.
