Game Consoles with Wired Connections

All devices must be plugged in by Ethernet and registered at ise-guest.uoregon.edu. After registering the device should be restarted. Once registered the status will say “pending,” which means it is ready to use.

PlayStation

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Select Network.
  3. Select View Connection Status.
  4. Write down the MAC Address (LAN Cable).
  5. Register the PS4 for use on the campus network at ise-guest.uoregon.edu.

Xbox

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Select Network.
  3. Select Advanced Settings.
  4. Write down the MAC address.
  5. Register the Xbox One for use on the campus network at ise-guest.uoregon.edu.

Nintendo Switch

  1. Attach your Nintendo Switch to the TV dock and plug in your USB Ethernet Adapter into a free USB port on the dock.
  2.  From the Switch’s Home screen select System Settings.
  3. In the System Settings menu select the Internet menu from the sidebar.
  4. From here select the Internet Settings menu, then choose Wired Connection.
  5. In some cases, the LAN Adapter MAC address will be listed at the bottom.
  6. Write down the LAN Adapter MAC.
  7. Register it for use on the campus network at ise-guest.uoregon.edu
