Game Consoles with Wired Connections
All devices must be plugged in by Ethernet and registered at ise-guest.uoregon.edu. After registering the device should be restarted. Once registered the status will say “pending,” which means it is ready to use.
PlayStation
- Go to Settings.
- Select Network.
- Select View Connection Status.
- Write down the MAC Address (LAN Cable).
- Register the PS4 for use on the campus network at ise-guest.uoregon.edu.
Xbox
- Go to Settings.
- Select Network.
- Select Advanced Settings.
- Write down the MAC address.
- Register the Xbox One for use on the campus network at ise-guest.uoregon.edu.
Nintendo Switch
- Attach your Nintendo Switch to the TV dock and plug in your USB Ethernet Adapter into a free USB port on the dock.
- From the Switch’s Home screen select System Settings.
- In the System Settings menu select the Internet menu from the sidebar.
- From here select the Internet Settings menu, then choose Wired Connection.
- In some cases, the LAN Adapter MAC address will be listed at the bottom.
- Write down the LAN Adapter MAC.
- Register it for use on the campus network at ise-guest.uoregon.edu
