Decorating your room is an exciting part of moving in at the UO! Below you will find general measurements for each residence hall. We hope this helps you and your roommate(s) make your new space feel like home.
Note that measurements are typical of what is in a residence hall room, but may not be exact. Over time furniture needs to be replaced and repaired, so the items in your room may not be the same as the original set. You will likely need to be flexible when planning how to decorate and what items to bring. If two different measurements are given for an item (such as a dresser), it’s generally best to assume the smaller measurement. University Housing cannot change, add to, or remove furniture from any room. It’s also a good idea to connect with your roommate(s) prior to purchasing larger items (such as mini fridges or small approved appliances) for your room so you don’t duplicate purchases.
Please do not hammer nails or set screws or anchors into the walls/doors/furniture. See our What to Bring list for approved adhesives.
